Cup Wheels for Large and Heavy Components

Why should a cup wheel from Tyrolit be the only ideal choice for large and heavy components? There are a number of reasons. For example, our cup wheels are exceptionally robust and durable. In addition, you can achieve extremely high stock removal rates with them, for instance, when machining large areas of welding seams or grinding imperfections on exposed concrete surfaces. Of course, not all cup wheels are the same. In addition to products for metal machining, we also have cup wheels for use on marble, slate and granite in our range. A practical feature: a consistent color coding system helps you to quickly find the right cup wheel for your needs.

Choose from our cup wheel assortment

Because working with an angle grinder is one of the most important processes for machining metals, we also offer you a correspondingly wide range of cup wheels. The spectrum ranges from cup wheels for steel and stainless steel, which are ideally suited for large-area grinding jobs as well as for edge grinding and bevelling of grinding seams, to cup wheels for stone. The latter are used for removing imperfections on exposed concrete surfaces, for pre-grinding engineered stone and terrazzo slabs as well as for surface grinding on marble, slate and granite.

Important: When making your selection, please note that a cup wheel can only be used on angle grinders for 178 mm diameter. Smaller machines turn too fast, larger machines too slow. In addition, it is essential to use a special protection cover for reasons of work safety.

Conclusion: Professionals turn to cup wheels from Tyrolit because they simply provide the best results for large-area machining of heavy components as well as for edge grinding, bevelling and more.
