Tyrolit sets new standards with its in-house developed assortment for floor grinding and floor prep. In mid-October 2023, the old winepress room in Bächlingen (Germany) was the scene of a comprehensive floor renovation, in which a large part of the Tyrolit floor grinding range was used, showing best results.
The wine press room, which dates back to 1766, is frequently used for community events, celebrations and weddings. As the client, the municipality requested a low-maintenance floor, which was reconditioned in seven grinding processes using diamond tools with different grit sizes. After three rough grinding steps, the floor was repaired with special levelling compounds. This was followed by four finer grinding passes before the floor was finally polished and impregnated - for maximum resilience and easy cleaning.
