High quality floor grinding chemicals

Tyrolit divides the floor grinding process into three parts: rough grinding, pre-polishing, and polishing. In the first two steps, more or less material is removed, and in the third phase, the floor is given its final finish. At the end of each of these stages of floor grinding, chemical agents are used to densify, seal or finish the floor. True to the motto 'Everything from a single source', customers also receive these chemicals directly from Tyrolit.

Essential chemicals for long-lasting results

In the first step (rough grinding), the material is roughly removed in accordance with the desired final appearance of the floor. Tyrolit offers a range of metal bond grinding shoes with different grit sizes for this purpose. After that, minor damage such as cracks or pores are repaired and filled with a special chemical filling compound - the Pore Filler.

To level the floor optimally, it is then ground again with ceramic/resin bond grinding tools with different grit sizes. With the Densifier, the floor surface is compacted and hardened and ideally prepared for future mechanical loads and abrasion. In addition, the water absorption of the floor is also reduced.

After the last phase, namely the polishing, the concrete floor receives its final shine. The floor is sealed and impregnated with a sealer to reduce the penetration of liquids, grease and dirt. Several high-quality options are available to our customers for this purpose.

Conclusion: Tyrolit's floor grinding chemicals turn simple concrete substrates into robust and resilient floors with a long-lasting and appealing appearance.
