A successful partnership

The Moonshine sailing team triumphantly won the spring regatta in the open category in Portofino at the beginning of May and thus made a spectacular start to the sailing season in the Mediterranean. The team has been supported by Tyrolit since the beginning of this season.

The winning boat Aori is a first-class 34-ton racing boat made entirely of carbon fiber - from the hull to the mast to the boom. It is equipped with a tilting keel and a long swim fin with torpedo bulb to increase or decrease the righting moment, depending on the requirements during the competition.

Importantly, the Moonshine project is deeply committed to sustainability, which aligns with Tyrolit’s initiatives to promote environmentally friendly practices. This victory in Portofino not only signifies the beginning of a promising partnership between Moonshine and Tyrolit but also highlights the shared commitment to sustainability. Fans and observers are eager to see how this dynamic will evolve in the upcoming competitions.
